Anyone have 'double' roller rockers in their 2.8/3.4

If so, do they fit under our valve covers? I'd have to change the studs too I guess. I found some on Jegs for not much more than regular roller tip rockers.

I need to hurry up and order a set for my 3.4 now that I'm in the process of assembly.

Edit: Did some searching, I should mention I'm most likely going with the 1.52 rockers. The Compcams 10mm 12 set rockers are $112, but for $148 there's a set of "proform" 1.5 double rollers. That's why I was wondering about it for only $36 and the work of installing different studs.

I tryed some proforms before, not sure on the part number. They didnt fit.

IIRC, the roller tipped comp cams will fit. 1.52 should be fine under stock covers, I belive its the 1.6 that you have problems.

yes the comp cams 1.52 roller tip rockers will fit, i have them. you need fiero valve covers to make the 1.6 fit, otherwise they bang the top of the valve cover.

Yeah, from the forum searching, I was already sure about the 1.52 roller tipped, and I knew the 1.6 needed different valve covers, it was the 1.52 double rollers I wasn't sure about. I think I'll just get the compcams 1.52's.

Just in case you don't know, you can't run 1.6 rockers on stock cam and valvesprings. 1.52's is the most you want to go unless you have the heads fitted with better springs.

The kit I ordered came with double springs, but I went ahead and ordered the 1.52's this morning.
