what kind of signal does the maf on the v6 use 0-5 volt 0-12 volt ,pules signal,sinewave.Reason i need to know is im looking at some of the piggy back computer things to use to tune the setup on my car.i.e apexi v-afc/greddy e-manage,some hks a/f controllers,and some others,but since there all made for imports .i need to match up the signals the diff ecms use to find something compatable with the ecm in the camaro

 

MAF is a digital pulse using a 5V reference. The frequency increases proportional to airflow.

 

thnx man,ok thats good the apexi safc will work with the maf,now to find out if it will work with the injectors

 

What information are you trying to get out of the injectors? Pulse width or peak voltage or what? If you're looking for pulse width, just read the computer data line, it's much easier and that information is always correct.

edit: never mind, I just re-read your post and now know what you're doing. Why don't you just get into computer tuning on the factory ECM, it's going to be cleaner and better in the long run.

 

well i will get into computer tunning later on,right now i need something that spretty simple that will work since this is my daily driver,the apexi safc will work for what i need,but it isnt optimal.if i knew enough about computer tunning id just do that,but like i said since this is my dd i need something that i can hook up and go for the time being.

 

You could just get the Holly Commander 950. I already talked to one of their reps n he said itd work fine. Hole differant setup tho, harness and everything, MAP based. He also said it could handle like 30.47psi or somethign crazy like that.
