Code 13, O2 sensor

What is the deal, I can not keep an o2 sensor in this car since I put the headers on. I had the same problem with my old s10 with headers.

Is this a known problem with headers, or do I need to put a heated one in?

What is the deal!?!?!

Code 13 means that there is either a short or open in the circuit, our cars don't check the quality of the signal to the ECM, just if the circuit is short or open, I would check continuity between the computer and the O2 harness connector and wiglle all the wiring while you have the guage hooked up.
