BEFORE I install new dizzy...

...where would be a good place to put a reference mark on the engine or intake before taking the old dizzy out? Since I'm putting in a new dizzy, I need to make a common mark that I can put on the new one so I don't screw up anything when I re-install the new one. ANY helpful suggesstions before I start this endeavor?

Ken

use your rotor as a reference point, mark it and te put it in at that same point. just make marks on your rotor and and elsewhere on your engine and mke the same mark on your new rotor and stab it . g/l

That's what I do as well and when you have a distributor in the back of the engine you can use a paint marker and put a mark on the firewall in line with where your rotor is pointing with the cap off.

Good luck!!
