Gasket question

Ok guys, I just need an engine hoist and the 3.4 should be coming home. But I have a question about the gaskets. I went to redline and asked for the 2.8 gasket rebuild set. They said they have I believe it was, FELPRO for I think a hundred dolalrs or so.

What are your thoughts on this brand? Good gaskets? Or should I look for something better? Thank you!

so it's pretty much the best I can get then? haha that's just what I wanted to hear! Thanks!

BTW, in regards to the intake manifold, I know you use the gaskets where the manifold seats on the head, but you use some kind of a sealant on the front and back instead of the provided gaskets right?

not discouraging u or anything,
as far as i know FELPRO is the best aftermarket gasket maker.

BUT there's one thread that I read here
on this forum, about felpro head gasket started
leaking in short amount of time..
Im not sure of if it was a mal installation or the product, but

I "PERSONALLY" would go with factory when it comes to a very critical seal
that has to be very precise fitted, ie headgasket..

just wanted to bring it up..

When I did the heads on my car, I used the FelPro top end kit and now have well over 100K miles on it since. No problems yet.
