EFI or TPI

Hey guys how can I find out if I have an EFI, TPI or whatever engine? I have a 92 Firebird V6 3.1, I was looking through some stuff on Hawks webpage and it states that this and that is for TPI and EFI, blah blah which one am I? Thanks

You have MPI, which stands for multi port injection, which is a form of EFI, which is an acronym for Electronic Fuel Injection.

If you want to get technical, MPI is for vehicles with batch fire systems, SFI is for sequential fire systems and EFI is any kind of Electronic fuel injection, whether it be port or throttle body injected.

TPI is names that way because the runner lengths on the intake are specially tuned to make "peak" torque numbers, the runner length is like 22 inches or something obscene like that.

TPI

So if I was to see something that I liked for my bird and it said "Only for TPI, would I be able to buy it, or would I have to look for something that says EFI or MFI? or are all 3 basically the same thing?
