sometimes when i go to start the car it will sound like it's starting but then stop from a nasty sounding thud anyone have any clue what this could be it's starts fiune tho afterwards first time it happened it scared the **** outta me i thought my flywheel was ****ed or something.

 

just a thought, but perhaps the starter is binding up somehow?
