Hello, I have a 1991 Camaro RS V6 automatic trans. I was wondering if you guys would reccomend me a V8 motor to swap. Im aiming for around 500rwhp. Also, I want to swap out a 5 or 6 speed transmission, what transmission would you reccomend? Also I would be doing the swap myself, and it would be my first swap. I know I'll need the complete motor and ECU wiring harness etc and motor mounts. What do you think the total cost would be around? Thanks alot.

deepnds on the engien/tranny/deal you get. I got the 305/tranny/harness fro $400 from local dude here. The small things, besides pulling the dash & rerouting the harness & cluster, were moving the breal line, new motor mounts, ... etc see the sticky in the engine swap forum.

Also, for hp figures, are you looking to go carb, FUlie, forced induction, juice......

Oh I see. Wow only 400 for a 305 + trans? That's cheap. Is that the average price? Does anyone know about how much for a 350?
