i got a 89 2.8L fuel injected camaro. is it TBI or TPI. never figured out what was the difference.

 

its niether tpi is the name given to the intake on the v8 cars,tbi is a manifold with a throttle body ontop of it like a carb setup,on a tbi car the injectors are positioned above the throttle bodie

the v6 cars have mpfi

 

MPFI (Milti-Port Feul Injection), as I've been telling a lot of newbies - PLEASE search first, seems like too many questions are asked over and over...
