Engine: 2.8
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42 open diff
simple question

i got a 89 2.8L fuel injected camaro. is it TBI or TPI. never figured out what was the difference.

its niether tpi is the name given to the intake on the v8 cars,tbi is a manifold with a throttle body ontop of it like a carb setup,on a tbi car the injectors are positioned above the throttle bodie

the v6 cars have mpfi

This a TBI for a 305/350 Camaro/Firebird


This a MPFI 2.8L (What u got)


This a TPI 305/350 for a Corvette/Camaro/Firebird (Its a Corvette one but its pretty much the same)


and ur vin will tell u wat kind of engine u got also
