Does anyone (in Canada) make a budget rebuild kit for the 2.8? I started to take mine apart to see where all the coolant was disappearing to and found it was getting through to the pistons (very slowly, luckily). I noticed that the pistons have worn in a nice groove around the top of the chambers as well. Since the motor is out and apart what can I do? I'm not looking for power just a daily driver and something to keep me busy for a while. Plus I've never rebuilt a motor before. I was thinking of buying rebuilt heads, already got the injectors rebuilt and I'm not sure what can be done for the bottom end (if there's anyting worth doing). I think the motor had about 250k on it. If I can get it back together and running I will sell it anyways. So any help/ideas please?
