Intake manifold questions

Hey guys, I have a simple question. Should I use gasket sealer on the intake manifold to cylinder head gaskets? Or do I just clean the surfaces with a scraper and lay the new gaskets down? Also, does anyone know the torque specs for the intake manifold? Thank you!

you use gaskets on the heads, and RTV on the front and rear part where the intake mates with the block, from corner of the head to corner of the other head. the torque specs are 22ft/lbs i believe.

Use MOPAR RTV- yes its a dodge product but its the ONE thing that they got right- its the best RTV you can buy.

21/22 sounds correct. There is a pattern to it as well.

Assuming your sitting in the engine bay looking at the engine I think this is how it goes...
left middle
right middle
left and back one
right and back one
left and front one
right and front one
left rear most
right rear most
left closest
right closest

I also found that once you tighten all them up, the first one you tightened is loose again. So go back and check each bolt 2-3 times.

ok thanks for all the replys guys. Sounds great! I just got the manifold back from getting cleaned. I can't wait to slap the gaskets on the heads, put down the sealant btwn the heads and slap on that manifold onto the 3.4!
