alls u would need is a 3.1 tb,and a new vacum line were it connects from the manifold to the drivers side valve cover.
on a 2.8 the tb has a large line that runs to the back base of the manifold, were it tees to the valve cover as well
on a 3.1 there is no line from the tb to the manifold, just the valvecover to the manifold.
u could pick up the required parts from a junkyard or somone on the boards dirt cheap
anyways flanges are in i got 5 sets
1 set is already used up for firstfirebird so i have enough left to make 4 manifolds.
so if u want one let me know

Nice work. It looks alot like the one I made about 4 years ago. They work. I have a rare and discontinued FDP 62mm billet TB made specifically for a thirdgen f-body 60*v6 on mine from a guy over in Sweden- factory TB is 52mm. My plenum volume is 4.1 qts- I sit slightly lower than yours by milling out the area where the shraeder valve would hit- thus I have no problem with hood clearance.http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...52_35_full.jpg

I like your TB, have you ever had that setup Dyno'd? I'm curious if changing the manifold and TB would help all that much since the heads seem to be the main problem.

EDIT : HPE; I got those flanges made, if you need something PM me and I might be able to help (a good friend of mine has a CNC shop).

I have talked about TB size in the past around here. Going to a TB that large will cause a stuble or hesitation in flow because it is just too large for the draw of our engines. It will level out an work fine if opened slow and smooth, but crack that thottle open quickly and it will stumble. 65mm is about as large as I would recommend and even that is pushing it.Note for fact.stock 52mm tb = 308 cfm's62mm tb = 435 cfmsA built TPI V8 motor is running dual 52's and they are twice our displacement.Don't go 75, you will regret it. My opinion of course, but I am just trying to help you not make what I think is an expensive mistake.

Actually, if you want to discuss this more, let's do ti in the appropriate place...

So, anybody ever install one of these UIMs on stock engine yet, or any NA intake even with minor mods?
What kind of power and mileage changes did you get?

^^^ True, Dave hasn't been on here in a while. He kind of disappeared for other reasons.

Dave has kind of dropped out of the V6 world. Not sure what went on but I think some problems back home for some reason or another.

Although my cousin Rob wrote this guy off awhile back, I still feel that the guy owes my cousin a very large sum of money. I really do hope that you get your money back from him John....

Re: new upper intake manifold testing done : available for purchase soon
^ From what my cousin Rob told me, the intakes were poorly made anyway. He never braced them properly on the inside, as the top center section of the plenum would cave downward whenever he put a load on it, you could even see it happening at idle if you looked carefully....
