4th gen supercharger questions

being an ex-3rd gen guy and a current gtp guy, i suppose i have a little insite into this.
the gtp blower has the TB facing the wrong direction, so it would most likely hit the firewall, let alone trying to get an intake attached to it. the holden rwd vehicles got a slightly different blower with a seperate elbow to adjust this problem, but still a bit of a clearance issue for us US guys, not to mention a bit cost-prohibitive on getting those parts here.
as for the heads, the gtp heads have the injector bungs machined into them, unlike the N/A 3800 motor which has the injectors in the intake manifold. so i think this may all be on the "not worth it" side.
...but i realllllllly want to get another 3rd gen and do a 3800 swap. thinking N/A 3800 (gen III if possible, although gen II is much more readily available and cheaper) and a turbo (or two) setup. lightweight compared to the standard SBC, relatively inexpensive motor & parts, and very tuner-friendly.

there was no gen3 N/A 3800 the gen three SC 3800 preaty much just got a slightly more efficent supercharger and TQ management to blow the trans appart (which ironicly made it slower than the 2003 and down GTPs..)
just use the supercharger from an early 90s thunderbird super coupe. It was an eaton M90 setup to use a remote elbow to pipe the charge to the intake. it was even used a 3.8 engine.

im pretty sure the 3.8 and 3800 are completely different engines...i may be wrong but who knows...i can get a complete GTP engine from a junkyard for $500

Simple answer, no its not possible. The heads wont even bolt up, the block is a complete different design.

Yes, the ford 3.8 and GM 3.8 are different engines, my point was that they are both OHV 3.8L engines, that used the same supercharger. its a very common mod to use the ford version of the eaton M90 on the 3rd gen engines because you can get them cheap off ebay.
it would be imenssly easier to do that than to even try to make a l67 (series 2 SC 3800) work.
for the same 500 you could get a 350 or just put that towards a turbo (which really wakes up the 3800 the M90 being a roots blow looses steam at around 5000RPM IIRC.)

the 3.8 in the lacrosse and allure(canadian lacrosse BTW, wich is just a reboddied regal) and the lucerne was downrated to 197HP and 227TQ in the Lucerne. IIRC..
although gminsidenews.com s engine guide is showing it as a series 3 in N/A form, but there was no increase in power, or efficiency. so I think its just a marketing ploy. (the series 3 SC honestly is just an upgraded version of the M90 and throttle by wire i belive.
But either way those engines wont work in a fbody. (unless you get one from a 4th gen, and then you cant use any of the stuff from the FWD parts save the block with a RWD set up heads and intake)

why would you want to do that much work for a procharger if your going to have to fab that much just use a turbo. I think this thread is starting to verge on beating a dead horse...later

the L67/L32 will fit the engine bay IF you cut the firewall. period.
that's if you want to keep the m90 on there. As i say, and it's finally sinking in for some, on the 4th gen sight, get an L67 short block, put on 4thgen heads & intake, add turbo.
problem solved.
