Vortec Heads?
Hey guys, I'm looking to see if anyone makes Vortec heads for a 2.8... or what you would recommend for an awesome head. i plan on getting another camaro with a 2.8 and modding it out some and getting about 400+ hp out of it... just because i want to tell people that i have a 2.8 that can woop their 350
now, i know we have cast iron heads on our stock 2.8's, can anyone tell me the best replacement heads? i plan on boring 60 over and putting in some better pistons and rods and the whole 9 yards, but i want to start with some heads.
Let me know!
the block is a 83' 2.8, and i also have a 89' 2.8 that i want to do some stuff to as well

Might want to start with a FWD roller block, have it drilled for a RWD starter. Install the gen3 FWD heads, and then the problem lies with the intake/dizzy/ecm system.
stock ecm works with a dizzy.
When using the FWD intake, a dizzy wont fit.
FWD heads wont work with the RWD intake.
