How hard to install a TCC?

How hard to install a TCC?

I'm gonna drain the tranny fluid and was wondering how how it is to replace the TCC? Any helpful tips or suggesstions?

Lets see - you can't replace the Torque Converter Clutch unless your willing to saw the torque converter in half and then reweld/rebalance it. It requires removing the entire transmission at the very least to get at the torque converter.

I'm assuming since your only changing the fluid you mean the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid, which is easily replaced when dropping the pan.

With the pan off, you'll see a set of wires (the ONLY wires in the entire transmission), follow those to a small device bolted very near the torque converter at the front of the tranny - you'll need to remove those bolts, pull it out and reinstall.
