2.8 headers

Hi I just received my headers today they are for a 1985-1990 Camaro/firebird 2.8L and I have a 1992 firebird 3.1. I have been told they will work but I looked at them and the header on the left side curves forward. Is this normal or what. I know the emissions will be different but I live in MT and I don’t have emissions.

They look strange when you first look at them, at least they did when I first saw them. The driver side header points forward, but the y-pipe will collect it and turn it down perpendicular to the oil pan. Once you start installing them you'll see why them made them that way.
