Good deal or what?

I've been wanting to put new injectors in place of the old stock ones. After looking on Ebay, I saw this (pic). What I want to do is get some aftermarket injectors and put them in this fuel rail and have everything ready to install after I take out the one I currently have in there now. I am also going to replace the FPR while its out. The plenum and everything else is something to have on hand. The total cost with shipping and handling was $85. Good deal?

If I'm not mistaken, the stock injectors are 15 lbs/hr.

Why wouldn't you just use your fuel rail and put in new injectors to save yourself the money for upgrades?

True, I could use the money towards upgrades, but I'd rather have an extra fuel rail to have already made up to save some time even though it's not that much time saved. At least, I get the upper and lower intake manifold in the auction. I want to put Accels in, but I heard some people had trouble with some of them. The guy at cruizinperformance said look for the black and silver Accels rather than the black and yellow ones. Anyone ever seen black and silver ones?

Personally, I like the Bosch or Denso injectors. I've got a set in my pickup (orange) with almost 180000 miles on them and no problems.

Anyone know what the Summit Racing part number is for the Black/Silver Accels?

You might need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator (AFPR) or you are going to be running rich.

I took the spring out of mine and put a AFPR in the return line.

Gotta get the fuel rail out and the FPR is held in by some tamper-resistant torx screws. Remove them and cut the spring, reassemble. The AFPR was a matter of cutting the rubber return line and putting in the AFPR, along with connecting the vacuum line in the stock location.
EDIT : This is not recommended advice, you should tune properly in the ECM. You can actually put a turbo on using stock injectors and low boost.
