I want to get your opinion on the Plastic Tank coating that goes inside the tank and hardens to help protect the tank. Just wondering if anyone has used it, or thought about using it? If so do you like, would you recommend it, should i use it? If you like it should I have it done professionally or can I do it myself?

I personally have never head any issues with my non-coated tank, is there a reason you are looking to do this? are you affraid of the "pinto" effect?

A buddy of mine had it dont to a behind the seat tank in his truck more for the sake of it rusting out. Right now my cameros tank has rusted thru and i ama in the middle of replacing it. I figured this would help seal any leak and help prevent any more leaks. Thats why i came here hopeing someone has already done this and could give me some feedback about how they feel about it.
