v6 swap

I want to swap a bigger more powerfull v6 into my Camaro. I'm not sure what kind of chevy engines there are that will fit with my car and so I can keep the old 5 sp tranny. I was thinking a 3.8 so I can turbo it and get some good power out of my car. What kind of F.I. engines of that time were the best that I would be able to use?

Re: v6 swap

If you do a search you'll find 3.4 from the 4th gen F-body will be your best bet.

Re: v6 swap

The 3.4 is basically a direct swap. It would be the easiest to swap into youe car.

Re: v6 swap

Do all the brackets stay the same? I think it might be a good idea to find a rebuild.
