turbo mpg?

what do you think the average fuel economy should be with a turbo setup. I realy want to do a turbo install, and i have all te tools to do it, but my ad seems to think tahat the fuel economy will be as bad as if i had a 50 in my car. I think hes wrong, but hey, what do i know.

depends on how u drive, i got better mpg with my turbo due to the fact of having more power going up hills and when passing without having to gun the motor. now if u constantly go into boost and floor it everywere u will prolly get worse gas milage then a stock 350 tpi car

so, is it evern worth turbong when i can get more power easier with using a v8? im talking about millage alone. Im 17, so spnding a ton on gas doesn sound too apealing. I just need more power then the stock 2.8 which is so much slower ten pretty much everything else out there.

ok, so if i turbo my car, and i drive normal, without like racing all the timei should get fairly decent millage?

yeah if u drive normally u will get the same/ possibly slightly better gas milage
but if ur gonna be racing around everywere ur gonna get very poor mpg
