It's been a while since i've visited these boards but i just thought i'd share my winter/spring project.

Basically I bought a '04 3500 LX9 in November last year.. since then I poted the whole top end, installed a custom ground cam, upgraded springs, #32 injectors, built longtube equal length headers and a host of other things.. bolted it to a W41 Muncie tranny and stuck it in my '91 Z24

on a very rough tune it layed down 241.5 WHP @ 6300 RPM and 220 TQ @ 5200 RPM.. Since then i've corrected the spark tables and been adjusting the VE alot.. I'm hoping for 260-270 WHP when all is said and done.

Here is a link to all the specs:

Video of the dyno run:

Walk around of the car idling... (currently pulls between 6" and 8" of vacuum)

the one good printout i got... (AFR's are wrong, had an exhaust leak right before the WB sensor)

More updates soon, The fuel pump is dead in it right now, if i can find a walbro 255 locally i'll have it running and hopefully take it to the strip next weekend.. Hoping for low 13's all motor.

Dave, I forgot that you were a member here. Lets inspire some more of these guys to build some V6s.

So how many 60*v6 members is it up to now? I'm forkvoid over there, though I lurk mostly.
