Just wondering what mods i can do to the car for now before i am able to get the 350. Is there any engine parts to upgrade? How much does it cost to turbo it? I at least want to be able to see the rearend of my friends gt mustang when we go cruise.

Re: new car

well if you plan on put in a 350, i wouldnt waste a bunch of time and money and headache with a turbo. best bet, and this is what i did, is to put some nitrous on it. just a little 100 shot. then if you blow the motor its motivation to start up the 350 build. and a 100 shot will atleast let you keep up with your buddies, if your car is in good running condition.

Re: new car

Your intentions don't seem a bit off to you?

You bought a 2.8L Camaro and want to keep up with your buddy's 5.0L Mustang GT. You want to throw money at a 2.8 to make it happen...until you can drop in a 350. Why waste the money on the 2.8 in the first place, then? I'd sit back and enjoy the good fuel economy and sharp looks of a thirdgen, while saving your money for what you really want: a 350.

I want to have a fun car right now. I am buying a 350 to build then put in. I am not just going to throw any 350 in. I want to build it who knows how the person before me drove.

Then drive it as is, doing the required work to keep it on the road. Don't bother throwing money at an engine you're just going to toss later.
