My accident..
Well this happened back in December but I just wanted to share with everyone what happened.. I was on my way to Ft. Campbell KY from Hartford, CT.. Well I was about an hour away and instead of stopping to sleep cause I was tired my stubborn attitude told me I can make it.. Sure enough I was on some road out in the middle of nowhere lost and I fell asleep at the wheel.. I woke up looking at my speed of 80mph and right when I look up theres a sharp right hand turn.. Obviously I couldnt stop in time and ended up nose end into a ditch flipping end over end 1 1/2 times landing on the roof.. Now I know flipping around could have alot to do with this but even with my seatbelt I struck the windshield hard enough to rip a good portion of my forehead apart.. I crawled out through my window to find nobody around and my cell phone was lost in the wreck.. I waited there bleeding out of my head for a good 20 mintues until someone drove down the road and found me screaming to them.. After the ambulance ride they told me I needed to be air evac'ed due to such a loss of blood.. well I died from that loss of blood in the helicopter for they said 40 seconds.. I beleive them cause I had burn marks on my chest from the dephibrilator.. So now 180 stitches and half a year later I always wear my seatbelt and stop whenever possible just in case.. If I wasnt wearing my seatbelt my head wouldve been completely smashed against that windshield and I wouldnt be here right now.. So please be careful when making long trips and ALWAYS wear your seatbelt! Thanks for taking the time to read this..

Talk about ouch, glad to see that you made it out safely. Seatbelt is always a must for me. About the only time I don't wear it is just moving the car around the driveway.
Re: My accident..
Ever since taking Drivers Ed. 2 years ago, it's become such a habit to put on my seatbelt and lock my doors before I even start the car. I'm kinda proud of it though.
We were told if you're in an accident and your doors are locked theres a smaller chance of them comming open during the accident...It was news to me but why not?
Glad you made it out of that.

Damn you are so lucky to be alive. Glad to see you are ok. Did you save anything from the car or just sent it on its way.
