Guy over on FTV6 is selling a Truleo intake and TB for $200 that he found in a JY. I would ****** it up but need money in other places. I figured somone over here would be interested. It needs to be cleaned up a little and the TB needs a little work to be put together right. Overall its in good shape and a great deal.

So who's car was that from? There were not that many sold here for f-bodies. I know Shannon has one (aka RAIF), but who else originally bought one? Car musht have been blue or teal.

 

The guy who is selling it found it in a JY actually in a Camaro. It has the right TB to go with it too altough it needs some work. Its in good shape, just needs to be cleaned up. It is for an f-body.

 

I realize that. What I am asking is who car around here ended up in the junkyard. I would assume since the great discussion on this website on the Tureleo intake when it debuted that the car found in the junkyeard was one of a TGO member that possibly bought one of the few Trueleo intakes custom made for the F-bodys and not a Fiero.

Damn, that thing looks HUGE! Is that too big for a 2.8? How many of those were made? If I had the cash I'd be all over that, but it looks like I'd need a new hood too. wha does it take a 2" cowl to fit that under the hood?

 

It will fit. Google Truleo for their website. Its a $600 manifold (w/o TB) brand new and he is selling for $200 with the TB.

I'm doing him the favor really. That thing would never sell on FTV6 since there are only a couple other thrid gen guys besides me over there.

 

I'm starting to think I should have waited till after the 1st to ask you about it 2.8RS. Then I would've had the money to counter an offer. That thing looks like it'd even make a 2.8 pretty mean.

 

son of a....... that stupid...... that intake ran me 875..... and that ford 65 mm throttle body ran me another 250..... that is the prototype intake that mr truglio made...... I had everything set up nice and clean..... and that big block for the iac valve..... yea that had to be custom made to get the car to idle..... I gave the car to a kid on n.s. mayport.... are the headers still on the car? if so.... DAMNIT I WANT THEM BACK.... and the fuel pressure regulator was another 450...... every time I got the car ready to fire, it kept catching fire.... that's why the blue powder coat is burnt and the intake starting to rust.....
