Is the exhaust the same in a 84 as in 85-92?
Hello,
I found an exhaust system that says it is for 85 to 92 2.8/3.1 Camaros. Does anyone know if this will fit my carb'd 1984 2.8? Is the extension pipe from the cat to muffler the same? Thanks

Most likely the hookup to the cat is a little different. I went through this when I was hanging an 86 T/A exhaust on my V6 bird. Just cut your old stuff off behind the cat, hang your new system, and pay the exhaust shop to fix your transition at the rear of the cat.
It cost me 25 bucks back when I did it.
