i recently have been getting the code 13 o2 circuit any ideas on what it could be?

 

Bad O2 sensor.

 

On open , short to ground or short to power in the O2 sensor circuit. That's the only thing our cars check for on the O2 ckt. There is no logic check on it.

 

how do i fix it?

 

First, I'd make sure that the wire that runs to the O2 sensor didn't come into contact with the exhaust and melt -- if it did then you'll just need to replace the wire. If it didn't, then you'll probably need a new O2 sensor. Don't get a remanufactured one.
