Should I get a Custome Tune?
Well heres the deal. I have a 92 Firebird 3.1L V6 with CAI, Headers, High flow cat, 2 1/2" flowmaster 80 series cat back, and a 180 themo. Next weds the car will be going to JSPerfomance to have a header installed. The cars idle has been running a lil rough and the cars running rich. They do custome tunes and have a dyno. Do you think I should put the car on the dyno and get a custome tune. I do want to get the car running stronger, and maybe make some tweaks to the computer. And any idea what HP I can pick up with the mods I do have.

You really don't need to tune these cars until you go internal or FI. Can that shop tune OBDI though?

Why even consider having the shop tune it when you can get a willems burner and an aldl adapter so you can datalog for $120 and do it yourself. All a shop will do is tune it for PE and charge you up the a** while leaving the other tables untouched.

As of what I know they can tune any thirdgen. Well I thought it would be worth a shot. Anyhow I do need my idle to be fixed, its running higher than it should be, its a 900rpm when its usually at 620-650. And its running rich.
