Clutch safety switch Location
Clutch safety switch Location
Hi everybody, I have an 85 camaro and it seems that every once in a while the car won't turn over so I let the clutch out and push it back in a few times and eventually it starts. I'm thinking the Clutch Safety switch may be bad but i'm not sure what the switch looks like or where exactly it is located by the clutch. Can somebody tell me where at by the clutch the switch is located and what it looks like? Thanks

It's a black switch (mine is black) and is about 1.5" wide and is attached to the pedal assembly. You will see where the clutch pedal presses it when you look up at it. It has 2 thick wires, can't remember the colors though.
