Get the Dynomax cat-back, Magnaflow high flow cat, and Pacesetter headers. The Dynomax and headers will all bolt right up to the stock cat, you would have to get a shop to install the magnaflow cat.

I recommend the pacesetter headers as well. Don't forget the y-pipe; your original pipe sucks! High flow cat and I like the Flowmaster cat-back for the LG4 cars, myself.

I also prefer to get these parts used if possible, but I am a budget guy!

Good luck!

The pacesetter headers are $250-300 I think, the rest of the exhaust system is probably around $400 excluding labor.

Re: 1897 Pontiac Firebird Help.

Well the dynomax muffler will sound pretty much stock if you want to make it sound alittle better get a flowmaster 80 series and if you want it to be really loud get a flowmaster 40 and ditch the duel outlets. But if your looking for power it wont matter much which muffler you use as long as its not a stock one. With the entire exhaust done your looking at about a 10-15 horse increase. Then if i were you i would ditch the stock airbox and get a nice K&N cone filter on there.

Re: 1897 Pontiac Firebird Help.

Come on, no ones said it?! I didn't know they made Camaros and Firebirds in 1897!

From the videos I've heard of flowmasters on V6's, flowmaster sounds like crap.
