oil pressure switch

oil pressure switch

i removed ny oil pressure switch to put on my headers and the threads are stripped and it wont go back in the aftermarket ones are all too small and will not fit in the hole do you guys think the block is stripped also or is there an easy solution to the problem

The oil pressure switch goes into the oil filter housing,which is bolted to the block. You could simply replace the housing.

in general the after-market sensors are smaller so the fit the largest number of application with the use of an adapter. at least thats what all of the ones i have bought.

take the sensor down to your parts store and get an adapter that fits.
