trans stuff

i have a lot of 'woble' at my gear stick (t5) ive looked at the trans mount but it looks ok?? could it still need replacing to steady everything? its just a rubber bung in a pot really aint it, should i try a poly one instead?
ive looked at the trans forum but just wondered on your experiences as felow v6 owners

I personally like the poly trans mounts, others complain about vibrations. I can take it!

A new mount is good, but slop in the stick is not related to that. Our shifters are the rail type and they have a ball formed on the end inside the transmission. That ball wears down a lot and allows lots of travel inside the rail you are in. A new shifter will tighten it up some.
