1985 V6 camaro price

hi,
i'm new to this forum because i'm thinking about picking up a 85 v6. The guy wants $800 for it. It runs great. but it needs paint, and the interior isn't the best. headliner is destroyed carpets are a little stained, but the dash is in pretty good shape. the guy is 60 years old so I know he hasn't been driving it really hard. what do you guys think?

here are some pics

A few things....any rust on the undercarriage? How many miles? What kind of work has been done on it recently?

Re: 1985 V6 camaro price

are you SURE there's no rust? try under the drivers side of the car. right were your feet would rest. its fixable, hell, i bought my 89 for $200 and it sounds like your car but without a running engine and some baaaad rust. is it a manual or auto?

Re: 1985 V6 camaro price

I would pass on it. If you look around, you should be able to get an 88+ car for the same price with the same milage. Just my

Better engine since they upgraded the block after 87 IIRC.

Also, by the looks, it's had the hood and bumper replaced, which suggests that it's been in an accident.
