Re: Smog delete bracket with pully

when i ditched my AIR pump, i didnt need a delete pulley, mine had an optional belt w/o AIR. might wanna check if you even need a pulley. then again mine was an 88, so things may have changed. id call the parts store and see what ur options are for belts. if the alternator is in the same place as it is on mine, you shouldnt have any problems just running a shorter belt, since it comes from the alt down to the crank. food for thought.....

I have that delete pulley and have an 89. When I went to the parts store to get a new belt there are different belts for w/ air, w/o air delete pulley, and w/ the delete pulley.

when you say (with air) do you mean "with A/C" or "with AIR". there is a big difference when saying "air". im not trying to confuse, just wanna clarify to all of us.

I mean AIR. I have the belt with the delete pulley and for some weird reason it was $20 more than the other two belt options.
