v6 stock Swaybars ?

Hey, I have an 88 V6 camaro...

It has front and rear swaybars...

what are the stock sizes that came with this car?

I just bought IROC Z front and rear sways off ebay...
I recieved the rear today, it looks somewhat larger than the
one currently on my car..

I looked at my front swaybar and it looks HUGE ....

I ordered the 34mm Front. I am afraid I bought it for no reason.

Thanks

Re: v6 stock Swaybars ?

on the v6 and i'm assuming the base model v8's were crap for sway bars...someting in the high 20s MM wise...formula has the best sway bars for the most part (36MM front and i can't remember rear) and irocs i think had 32 or 34MM. Basically the sway bars on the v6 is crap, and you want say a z28 or preferably IROC-Z sway bars. To my knowledge though Formula is one of the best combinations though.

I personally went from base model firebird sway bars with my TBI 305, and upgraded to Trans Am front bar and IROC-Z rear sway bar with the IROC-Z front wonder bar.

Will All the mounting / end links work for the bigger sway bars?

Re: v6 stock Swaybars ?

i can vouch for 85+...they all will work, i have heard mixed things about 82-84, i can't remember if it's mounting of the bushing brackets or if the bars are actually different. IROC bars will bolt right on to your 88 no problems.
