Changing rear cam cover seal!

Is there a way to change the rear cam cover seal without dropping the tranny? I changed mines a few months ago but now its leaking again. This time I will be using permatext on it when I put it back on.

Make sure it's the cam cover seal and not the distributor o-ring first. You'll be kicking yourself if you don't check it before you pull it all apart.

Also, while you're there, I'd suggest replacing the rear main seal.

You are so right about that! I read that you guys say that all the time and I never thought to look. Will be doing that this weekend. I hope thats all it is.

Thanks!
