Im doing v8 swap on my 1992 firebird 3.1L v6 auto, the engine had bad hg, so im doing a v8 350 swap, when we pull the v6 engine, I take off the head and send it to my good friend and let he check for free, and we replace the head gasket, the tranny is still in good condition, over all car engine and tranny had 135k miles, how much you think i can sell it too junk yard or ebay ? it will include the ecu cause im going with carb. thanks

 

I'm sure you could sell it for around 500 bux. I don't know many people personally who would buy it since most of the people I know would do what your doing but if both the trans and motor are good then 500 isn't to bad a asking price. I would say put it in your local auto trader or the classifieds for 500 obo and settle for atleast 300 if they pay cash for it.

 

its not even worth 500,though it depends on ur area, last motor trans combo i bought i paid 100$s for with alot less miles then 135k think it had 75 or 85k on it

the stuff is only worth what someone is willing to pay you for it id put it up for 250$'s and see if anyone takles it or makes an offer on it

 

Motor and transmission together, I'd probably pay $200 tops.
