ok, after some mild thought and a few beers I have come to the conclusion what I want is a lower intake to the fabled 3500 heads that allows a vac advanced dist and a carb.
Yes, i know there are flames shooting out of finger tips typing so damn fast to burn me proper for thinking that i want something like this. I don't care! My Camaro is a comp controlled carb, with no computer input. I live in a state that cares how loud my exhaust is but says nothing about other bs. I am willing to pull a 2.8 with less miles on it than some guys oil change. I got a 3.4 to play with, no wires. All i want is to be able to drive my old girl, and feel as young as when i got her.
To help, or just because they have a good site and I like there stuff. I e-mailed edelbrock, asking if there was a market to sell to would they build. well I said it nicer.
I am also interested if there would be a market for a sheet metal intake? I do hope if you don't think you would like something like this, you curb your flack for another post. I know I will run a carb, even if it is just to show some you can. so that is what i got, lets see if people want to go old school, with new tech heads!

What you are thinking of has been done. There is a guy on www.60degreev6.com who has made a custom carb intake to work with the 3400 heads IIRC but I forget his name over there.
