I took today off, and I'll be free in a little while. If you wanna take a ride later on call me and lemme know, as I could use the break after working all morning on the new project. However, I only have few hours though, not an all nighter lol....

Re: vid clips from today
rob not gonna be today, ill give ya a call in a lil bit.i need a new boost gauge mine only reads to 25 psi i gota see if paul has one that reads to 30 or 35
chevy not much more lag at all spool up used to be instant on the street now i have minimal lag.
its hard to explain how fast it used to spool but it was almost to fast.it usually resulted in wheel spin leaving from a red light with a tiny bit of throttle.since im running the same side and just a larger compressor wheel spoolup was not affected much at all
deep 12's was a sure thing on the small comprssor wheel at 12-14 psi this should take me well beyond if the shortblock stays together anyway

Re: vid clips from today
sounds like your going for an all out run just to see how far you can take it. if you don't have a lot of lag it must not be as much air volume as I thought.
so what times are you thinking? 10s? be sure to get a video and post it up!

Re: vid clips from today
its a 67mm compressor wheel also known as a to4r/t04z
the reason i dont lag is cause of the small ar on the ex side, rob can tell u how fast it spooled up witht he 52mm coldside ont he turbo.
we actually just ran out and i got a 35 psi boost gauge to install tommorow, only thing thats left is i need to go pick a few gallons of methanol and were good to start doing some serious testing

Re: vid clips from today
how do you tune for methanol injection? wouldn't you try and put less fuel in to compensate?
if your turbo is spooling that fast I wonder if you could get it to run a really big turbo so it won't spin so bad off the line. like out of a diesel truck.

Re: vid clips from today
i run a high stall converter thats part of the reason it spool lightning fast
i could prolly run upto a t4 1.0x housing and be fine, it would actually increase my hp in the high rpms prolly 20-30 hp

Re: vid clips from today
hey I got a quick question. why do we run a heated O2 sensor at the turbo? I know why we run a heated O2 sensor, but why there and not at the stock location?

Re: vid clips from today
sort of depends on how much methanol ur running, when my methanol injection comes on i pull about 7% of the fuel out of the motor the more meth i spray the more fuel i take out
