dude i was just pointin out your "im his ages and i know better remark".... yeah ls1 run close to 0-60 in 5 sec. and wow u can have about the same gas milage with the ls1 4th gen i would have gotten that. im not knocking the v6s though....my 99 daily driver is a 3800 v6 and i love it but i just keep it all stock u want to put money into modding a v6 thats fine i dont care. and its not like im prowling around the v6 forums to pick on v6s or anything, i just look at the new post section and saw this and ive talked to this kid alot trying to help him on Aim hes a good kid and is just overly enthusiastic, it was just all started by me saying cut him some slack cause hes young then u jumped in with the well im his age and i know better bs. so u draged urself into it....dont like what i say o well its the internet deal with it and if i want to read and post on here i will i have automotive knowledge its not v8 specific, i have had 2 turbo v6 cars and loved them...

Sounds like a hypocrite to me . You help contribute to this war. Here is what I dont get I've been on these forums over 2 1/2 years. All of a sudden people start dragging their bs post about and talk about how good V8's are compared to V6's. Please take your bs post and take them somewhere else. All senior members on the V6 forums are tired of it.

ok now im gonna do some v6 bashing, u got calvin pissin on "ric ers" and yet u are on the same line as them pooring money into the base *** model of a car, the non performance oriented economy versoin...granted ill give u that your mods are more tasteful but still comeon go up to an average person and say yeah i got a camaro its real fast then when they start showing intrest say yea its got a v6 watch their face turn to disapointment, Camaros and Mustangs and Trans Ams are known for their brute force V8 HP and Tq....not the v6s....Its impressive when a built v6 hangs with a v8 but kind idiotic when u think about how bad the car could be with the same amount of money into a v8...Now im done with the bash, u got a V6 u like it good, i really dont care im just annoyed now and stickin up for my v8 buddies and one v6 lil buddie....Ive got a 400hp V8=cool sounds awesome

I understand completly. I barely put any money in my car, just enough to keep running at its best. Ex. system I had to replace since the muffler was rusted so I got a good deal on a custom system locally. And a stereo system I bought to enjoy. Other than that my cars stock. I feel the same way but im not going to bash my V6's bro with their cars. Still don't come here to bash them for having V6's please.

What a waste of life. stock 3.1L does 0-60 in 9.5secs. Do u know how to properply count 5 seconds you count 1mississippi 2 mississippi 3 mississippi not 12345. mY 3.1L with a cold air intake, headers full exhaust and 180 thermo on a 1/4 tank of gas went 16.9 in the 1/4 mile and did like like a 2.4 60' time i would assume my car did 60mph in 9.5 seconds. To get your stock V6 to run 0-60 in 5 seconds you must have that motor sitting in a go kart that weighs maybe 800lbs. If your car ran 0-60 in 5 seconds it would also run the 1/4 mile in a high 12 second range. Now until you have video proof of this, and I am serious cause your car doesnt just run 0-60 seconds one day and then run 0-60 seconds in 10 secs the next. I request if this fool does not add a video of proof that his car did this that this thread be deleted within 7 days.
