okey, but I meen that between 4 to 5000 rpms the engine doesn't have any power at all.. I have to let the pedal go so its gears, anyway the engine doesn't go clean either. I need some tips that to do . and then you adjusting the tps what idle speed should it be? I come from sweden so sorry for my bad english..

Don't mess with the idle or TPS, set them to stock specs. Some basic stuff that you can do is make a free flowing CAI and add headers and exhaust to wake the motor. Setting the timing to 12* is supposed to help also. These motor just have a crappy topend, its the nature of the beast.

Mine loses it's power at qround 5K rpm. It usually downshifts before it gets there though, even when I'm getting her going.

Re: 3,1 weak at high rpms

one of the main reasons it falls on its face around 4500 rpm is the stock exhaust is crap, then the next bottle neck is the intake manifold. we all have this problem. headers and a good catback will help, but the intake is still my problem, even w/ some porting on it.
