Heads and cam question

Buying parts to build my turbo setup, and I'm having a really hard time finding heads. The only heads I've been able to find are
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-8-3...spagenameZWDVW

and I dont know if those are going to really be that much better than the stock cast iron heads?

As for cam, this one was recommended to me, 260 duration, .440 lift, any thoughts on it? Or a better recommendation?

Re: Heads and cam question

I dont think we have much to choose from heads and those off ebay I think will only be used with the correct block..valves are splayed.Maybe some else will chime in with more knowledge on those. Most of the guys running the turbos like the MTC-5 cam..I just installed mine yesterday..non-turbo though, with some mild ported heads.I think the turbos benefit from the split duration cam like the MTC-5 has.. as the 260 is a single pattern cam.

Re: Heads and cam question

Those heads are for the FWD motor. You can use those but it involves a lot more work. For more info on the FWD top end swap check out this LINK

If you cant do that swap your best bet is to just get your stock heads and intake ported and polished.
