The official 3500 weigh in

340lbs on the nose as pictured for a 3500 minus the alt, P/S and A/C...

That's about 40lbs of savings over the iron headed engines, even thought the 3500 has a roller valve train. This means if you are bolting a 3x00 top end to a Gen 1 block, you are even less
