Funny Voltage Reaadings
About a 2 weeks ago my volt gague was flirting on the mark between 13 and 8 volts. I let it sit for a day and drove it again and it was back to normal until tonight. I was riding down the interstate and its dropped back to the same spot and stayed there until I got home. When this happens nothing major is noticable lights don't dim, sstereo sounds good still and all (I have a cap on the amps so I don't believe thats bothering anything). Now my dad has an 88 silverado and he said it does the same thing from time to time but he never noticed anything from it either and he said it has been going on for about 2 yrs now.
I'm just curious to see if anyone else has had this happen to them before. I have about 1 more month worth of driving then its in the garage for winter work so I just wanna make sure I don't need to park it earlier.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Funny Voltage Reaadings
Fired it up and drove it to work today and the voltage was normal just a hair above 13v. So who knows may be one of those chevy ghosts that I have been witness to in the past. LOL
