Car wont start without shooting starting fluid in the intake tube

Car wont start without shooting starting fluid in the intake tube

i'm thinking cold start injector. any other ideas?
just re-gasketed entire engine
runs fine after it warms up

Sounds like a fuel pump relay, its not priming the system, but once you get it to fire, the back up switch kicks on when it sees 7psi of oil pressure.

would the oil pressure gauge topping out have anythimg to do with it?
