ECM harness grounds?
I have this posted in the electronics forum but have yet to get a response. It's been seeming like my IAC is somehow slow to respond (and it's brand new, so I KNOW it's clean) and my idle and off-idle acceleration has been, well, weird. It's not just because I am running my older injectors (that ACTUALLY are for the 3.1), because the engine had the same problem with the leaky 3.4 injectors.
It seems as though, like I said, that the IAC is SLOW. I mean, I let off of the clutch and gas, and my idle RPM goes up, sometimes around 3k, and it takes FOREVER to go down to wherever it's supposed to be, and sometimes it doesn't even drop, setting a code 25 or whatever the code is that means that the ECM can't set the proper idle speed. I know I have had problems with the ECM main ground in the past (car wouldn't start until I pushed it back into the ECM connector), and I am sure that some more of them are probably corroded. Can anyone shed some light on where the ECM harness grounds are so I can clean them up and see what happens?
BTW, I know someone on here is going to say that my acceleration is screwy because I am running an AT PROM. I have an MT PROM/ECM in the mail somewhere, but I would like to get this taken care of all at once.

Re: ECM harness grounds?
Okay, the 2 main ECM grounds are good, but what I need to know now is if the sensor grounds are ECM controlled... seems like the wire in the ECM harness cavity D13 is supposed to be grounded full time, but it isn't...
Also going to have to find a suitable 12" pigtail for my IAC... Seems as though my existing one, with 2 solder joints per connector, isn't working, and that's why my idle control is so funny... I mean, come on, now, shouldn't my IAC have SOME carbon traces on it after having been installed for almost 25K? It's just as clean as it was the day I put it in!
