question on v6 to v6 swap
hello all,
I have been resorting to this website for help for a couple of months now and i must say its the best i have found yet.
That said, i have a 92 camaro RS with a 3.1l v6 and wanted to know if a 4th gen 3.8l would bolt in using the same tranny, wiring harness, etc. any help would be great thanks.

no, but the 3.4 from a 4th gen will fit. the 3.8 is a 90* block and has different bolt patterns and mounting points than our 60* V6. the 3.4 is a 60* and has some goodies that you can use if you ever needed to switch to sequential fuel injection (SFI). but of course you don't need to use that stuff so putting one in is really a bolt in affair.
