Engine: 3.1l LHO
Transmission: 700-r4
ignition module....

i was told that auto zone can test the ignition/control module for me. My question is, now after a few narrowed down problems, replaced a quite a bit of stuff and now its time to do that. How do you get to it? was told the distributor has to come out. Correct? thnx guys

Take the cap off and look at the black box-like thing sitting on the plate at the bottom with 2 screws. That's it. 2 screws, 3 plugs, and it's outta there. Try to get the lifetime one when yours fails.
