Changing stabilizer bar bushing

Quick question about changing out the stabilizer bar bushing. When I finished changing out the bushing I noticed that the bar isn't as far forward in the bushing as it should be. Now the question is will it slide forward when I let the car down or is something a lil bit off. The bushing seems to fit in place just fine so I was wondering for those who have changed this bushing out what are your thoughts.

Thanks in Advance!

Re: Changing stabilizer bar bushing

take off the other side too. then the bar will rotate freely and its easy to put both back on.

Dont tighten any of the bolts completely until the car is on the ground, leave em a few turns loose, set the car down to get the suspension set, then tighten them up, or youre gonna have that bar pre-loaded constantly.
