Awaken
I finally got my Camaro running! I have owned this car for almost 7 monthes and it has sat in my driveway the whole time.
When we bought the car the owner said it just needed a fuel pump so my step dad and I brought it home swapped the pump, new filter etc.
Nothing
I tested the TPS and it was junk so I replaced it.
Nothing
Had the ignition module tested and it passed
Put in new plugs checked the spark and it had it
Tested the fuel pressure and it had it so I had no leaks in fuel system
It got to the point where there were months inbetween times when my step dad and I got outside to work on the thing so I finally decided to take it to a mechanic
The guy had it 6 days and I just picked it up today and it's running well...turns out the pintle in the injectors was fine to they didn't leak but the tips on 3 of them were completly shot and so my mechanic replaced them along with all the gaskets, and a new set of AC Delco plugs
Grand Total parts and labor(lots of time troubleshooting by the way)
$215...I really don't think it was a bad price at all
Very glad to finally have this car running
