Wiring question

Hi guys.

For the past month ive been trying to find vacume leaks on my 86 2.8 that might have been causing my backfiring prob. Only to find out that the wire i thought was the est plug was ...not. Ive been in several junk yards i have seen several of these est plugs however when i return home mine is not present if i had a camera id show that none of the wire looms on the passenger side are safe from my searching but still no est plug to be found... i was going to just cut the god damned wire and install a quick disconect but i also can find no tan wire with a stripe in it to save my life. I have come so close to taking my jack bar to the windsheild of this thing its not even funny. So i come to you to ask which wire from the distributer is it so i can trace it back a little and chop the damn thing any help on the subject would ever so greatly appreciated

Re: Wiring question

The tan one with the black stripe, found in the 4-wire connector on the module...
